With iron bolts protruding out of the “neck” of the piece, you can’t help but notice its similarities with the popular interpretation of Mary Shelley’s classic Frankenstein. The Erlenmeyer Wall Sconce from Hubbardton Forge is stylized, bold, and eye-catching. Light gleams through a vessel, directly inspired by the Erlenmeyer Flask invented by 19th-century chemist Richard Erlenmeyer. The piece provides simple ambient lighting that fans downwards creating interesting shadows through its glass lamp shade.
